DropYou Account Deletion Policy
Effective Date: 01-06-2025
1. Requesting Account Deletion
You may request to delete your DropYou account at any time by using one of the following methods:
a) In-App Deletion (if available)
- Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your deletion request
b) Email Request
Send an email to support@dropyou.co.uk from the email address associated with your DropYou account. Please include the subject line: “Account Deletion Request” and your registered name or phone number for verification.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 7 business days
- All personal data associated with your account (including name, email, phone number, saved addresses, and order history) will be securely erased from our active systems
- Some data may be retained in backup or archive systems for a limited time to comply with legal, regulatory, or fraud prevention obligations, after which it will be permanently deleted
3. Exceptions
We may be required to retain certain information for a longer period under legal or contractual obligations (e.g., transaction records, fraud investigations, or tax reporting). In such cases, your data will be retained securely and will not be used for any other purposes.
